I called to see if they had anything open that day (Tuesday) and he said yes they did. Had my car towed there and heard nothing from them. I called the next day, he said it was busy and they would look at my car in the evening or the next morning. I called Thursday afternoon, and he said "you seen anxious about your car, I talked to you yesterday." Well, I suppose I was , since I was carless trying to make it to both my jobs. And it is my car, so I'd like to know what is happening with it or at the minimum a timeline. At this point he said it would be into next week before they could even look at it. Monday went by with no word. Tuesday I called and told them it had been there a week. He confirmed it had been there a week. He said it was next to be looked at. I finally got the diagnosis and called back and he said there was 7k worth of work to be done. He asked what I was wanting to do with this car, as though I should be throwing it in the garbage. When I talked to my friend who knows cars, he said many of the issues are wear and tear and easy fixes, and that if nothing is wrong with the engine I shouldn't freak out. I ended up spending $2k on a muffler and tie rods. People seem to be shocked at that price. Personally I think it seems astronomical but maybe that's just me, since I don't make very much money doing childcare. Besides the price, I will never go back here. I don't think I'm a difficult customer at all but to not hear a word about what is even wrong with my car for a whole week seems like a bit too much time. I understand being busy however that is in my opinion unreasonable. They did offer me a loaner car, but I don't like to drive new cars and have anxiety about it as well as I can't always fit comfortably in every car. But not hearing at all from them was bizarre to me. I was supposed to just wait, for days and days, for a text. It seems like an odd way to do business.
Hi Liz- thank you for giving us a try and for taking the time to leave us feedback. We sincerely apologize for the delays with getting your car diagnosed and the inconvenience we caused you. We don't like to make excuses but we've been short help and very busy the past few weeks- we're doing the best we can to take good care of all our customers. We didn't mean to imply you should throw your perfectly good car away but rather we were asking so we can understand what repairs to prioritize for you so we can serve you best. Unfortunately, inflation has had a large effect on our industry across the board and we understand car repairs can be expensive. We’re very sorry you didn’t think our service was a good value. We firmly stand behind our prices and in most cases can meet or beat any apples to apples competitor quotes. We stand behind all our work and recommendations with a 3 year/36k mile warranty, complimentary roadside assistance, and offer free loaner cars. Thank you again for your feedback and have a great day!
