Brought my vehicle in after it died at a stop sign and wouldn't even attempt to start back up. When the tow came they popped the hood open and a cover to some wires over my battery had popped off exposing them. He put his battery tester on and showed the battery was good but becuase of the issues I was having and the cover being moved to let the shop know that there's a good chance that there's just a connection issue and something might be loose or corroded. I will say the guy who I spoke with was very friendly and very polite, however after having a look at my vehicle told me all my wiring looks great. He also told me I had a head gasket leak and quoted me at around $3,500 to fix it(this price also included my diagnostic, oil change, and a new air filter) he told me my car was still drivable I just needed to watch my oil levels closer if I wasn't going to fix the leak. So I left and within half a mile from my home which is only a 7 minute drive from the shop my serve 4wd light comes on. So I decide to get a second opinion and have someone else take a look at my vehicle. You know what they find? 3 corroded fuses and a wire that needed to be replaced. Now my car drives great no issues. Feels like I wasted my money on a diagnostic when I told them what I wanted them to look for and they still overlooked it.
Hi Samantha- thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We're very sorry you didn't have a good experience with us. We stand behind all our work and recommendations with a 3 year/36k mile warranty and if we make any mistakes we will do our very best to make it right. In your case, your vehicle was towed to us because it wouldn't start and we checked and verified that the no-start condition was corrected. There were no active codes with the 4wd system. Issues with the 4wd light are not related to this but if you had brought the vehicle back to us instead of another shop we would have diagnosed that issue for you as well. Thank you again and have a great day!
