I have brought my vehicle here several times and reviewed highly, even though the work was ‘ok’ But this is the final straw. Yesterday, I paid $2900 for only rear pads and rotors, spark plug /coil/etc, fuel system ‘cleaning’. ! I accepted this price that is well behind anything I have seen in the past, as I ‘needed’ my vehicle next week As I drove home, within 3 miles, my brakes began ‘screaming’ (a nasty rubbing/scraping noise so loud a person next to me on the highway pointed at the rear of the vehicle (that I already was quite aware of)) How my vehicle could have not been checked by them - Eg for them to not have bothered to have looked at and heard this before I was given it back to take it home is beyond me. This cost me another hour of my time, at at my hourly rate, that is another lost $150+ I brought by van back the next morning (I had picked it up at almost 5 pm which is their closing, so I had to wait until they opened the next day) They proceeded to tell me that this was an ‘unrelated’ issue and billed me ANOTHER $615+ to ‘diagnose’ and repair the issue - eg tell me the CALIPERS needed to be replaced, even though that is what I originally assumed was the issue and WHY I had brought it to them !!!!! There is no excuse for them to have NOT found this initially (assuming it was the real problem) since this is why I brought the vehicle in!! I cannot imagine a facility not checking the calipers when they are charging to replace the pads/rotors ! Who would not bother to look at the calipers when replacing the pads and rotors?? I knew to do that when I was 14… :( I told them I hope the $615 extra they took from me is worth losing a long term customer permanently !!! I will never be going back Their prices are also, by far, beyond any other facility I have dealt with :(

Your rear calipers appeared to have been fine at the time of the pad and rotor replacement (which was done by our ASE certified Master Technician) as they compressed properly. Everything appeared to be working properly on our test drive performed after your service. Unfortunately, inflation has had a large effect on our industry across the board and we understand car repairs can be expensive. We’re very sorry you didn’t think our service was a good value. Your repair shop in New Brighton, MN got my vehicle in quickly and addressed the AC problem just as they explained to me. The work was performed in a very timely manner, and the result was a fully functional system when completed. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I came in for an oil change and to repair a tire with a screw in it. When I got back in my vehicle and while driving away, I turned the fan on high to cool down the vehicle with the A/C on. The fan was making a very loud noise that I’ve never heard before I brought the vehicle to have the oil changed. I went back five minutes later to see if the person that worked on my car could tell me what he thought it was I was told by the man at the front desk that we didn’t touch your AC. I replied that I knew that but the noise was not there when I brought the vehicle to have the oil changed he again told me we didn’t touch the AC and that he did not have anybody available to look at it as I was walking out. He said I could come back another day and have it checked out, I didn’t think coming back within five minutes. There would be nobody to even talk to me about it. I did not make another appointment to come back in.

It sounds like we didn't communicate properly with you on the issue to understand that your concern was with the blower noise and not the AC not working. We sincerely apologize for not meeting your needs on your visit and we should have made time to listen to your AC blower. Please note that we only have one AC recovery machine and it was in use at the time so we couldn't have taken your Jeep in for AC work until the cycle was finished on the vehicle it was already hooked up to. They were able to get my truck in right away with no appt and got the alignment done with in an hour. Nice employees, very noligable and easy to talk to. I would strongly recommend this shop.
